If you are 70 ½ or older, you can contribute up to $100,000 to Pines of Sarasota Foundation from your IRA. The gift must be transferred directly to the Foundation from your IRA and must be received by December 31st to qualify for tax benefits.
Your personal donation of $5 — $500 may be eligible for matching funds through the Louis & Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust, doubling your impact on Pines of Sarasota Foundation. Restrictions apply.
